Widely known for championing the rights of music creators, Trina Marie Bowman has justifiably earned the nickname of “The Fixer” within the top ranks of the creative community. “Trina’s contributions during her time with me greatly exceeded my expectations,” says Harvey Mason, Jr., CEO of The Recording Academy, widely known for its annual GRAMMY ® Awards telecast. “She executed every task with a high regard for detail, and offered invaluable support in transitioning and growing my businesses. Anyone would be fortunate to have such a bright and thorough self-starter by their side. I look forward to watching Trina’s continued growth and leadership in the industry.”
Over the course of her multidimensional career in the music industry, Trina Marie Bowman has dedicated her expertise, ingenuity, and incredible depth of knowledge to helping music creators reach their fullest potential. Founder

Most notably known as the former GM to Underdog Music Group and Harvey Mason Media, Bowman played a vital part in rebuilding a fluid infrastructure for this A-List production and publishing company. She also aided in negotiating and structuring major motion picture music partnership deals for Straight Outta Compton, Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2, the James Brown biopic: Get on Up, and Sparkle, and has supported numerous major-label song placements.

Leveraging her own background as an audio engineer, extensive experience in the producer and songwriter community, and a vast network, she distinguishes herself as an engaging and empathetic advisor and trusted collaborator. "I'm innately a creative myself, my clients are a mirror of my own passions, so I give them as much support as I would want or need,” she states. “I’m using my skill set, tools, and knowledge to expand their perspectives and cement their legacies.”

Bowman completed multiple certifications in audio engineering at Omega Studios’ School of Applied Recording Arts & Sciences at age 17—an exceedingly rare feat for women in music, to this day. Fully certified in recording engineering and studio techniques for digital and analog, sound reinforcement for live performances, audio production techniques, and MIDI.

As a Professional Member to The Recording Academy, Bowman remains firmly committed to her mission of shaping a more equitable industry. She has participated on panels and speaking engagements at ASCAP EXPO, Full Sail University, Syracuse University’s Bandier Program and supports movements such as She Is The Music. As well, she is the founder and chairperson of Baltimore based non-profit music school start-up, LOVE BACK.
